Archiving Policy

International Journal of Social Sciences and Management Research (IJSSMR) ensures the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all its published content. The journal adopts multiple archiving and digital preservation strategies to safeguard scholarly work for future generations.

  1. Digital Preservation:
All published articles are archived in secure digital repositories to ensure permanent accessibility even in the event of system failures or technological changes.

  2. Institutional Repositories:
Authors are encouraged to deposit published versions of their articles in institutional or subject-based repositories immediately after publication, without any embargo period.

  3. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Systems:
IJSSMR supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS initiatives to preserve its published content through distributed archiving among participating libraries worldwide.

  4. Publisher’s Repository:
All articles are stored in the journal’s official online archive, maintained by the publisher, ensuring full-text availability of current and past issues.

  5. Self-Archiving Policy:
Authors are permitted to archive both pre-print (before peer review) and post-print (after peer review) versions of their manuscripts on personal websites, institutional repositories, or funding agency archives, with appropriate citation to the original publication in IJSSMR.

  6. Backup and Security:
The journal’s website and content database are regularly backed up and maintained on secure servers to prevent data loss.

  7. Open Access Preservation:
As an open-access journal, IJSSMR guarantees perpetual access to all published articles under the terms of the Creative Commons License adopted by the journal.
