Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that align with the aims and scope of the International Journal of Social Sciences and Management Research (IJSSMR). The following guidelines must be strictly followed to ensure smooth review and publication.

1. Manuscript Submission

  • Submissions must be made electronically through the journal’s online submission system or via the official journal email.
  • All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be structured as follows:

  • Title Page: Title, author(s) name, affiliation, email address, and ORCID (if available)
  • Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing objectives, methodology, key findings, and implications
  • Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords
  • Body Sections: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendations
  • References: APA 7th Edition preferred

3. Formatting Requirements

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
  • Length: 4,000–8,000 words for full articles

4. Tables and Figures

  • Must be numbered (e.g., Table 1, Figure 2)
  • Include clear titles and sources (if applicable)
  • Should be placed within the text at appropriate points

5. Plagiarism Policy

  • All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software.
  • Submissions with more than 15% similarity (excluding references and quotes) will be rejected or returned for revision.

6. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must follow ethical research practices.
  • Research involving human participants must include ethical clearance and informed consent.

7. References

  • Use APA 7th edition citation style.
  • References should be recent and relevant, preferably from scholarly sources such as journals, books, and conference papers.

8. Article Processing Charges (APC)

Details about APC (if applicable) should be checked on the journal’s website or inquired via official contact.

9. Review and Publication Process

  • Submissions go through a double-blind peer review process.
  • The review period is typically 4–6 weeks.
  • Accepted papers will be published in the next available issue.
