Peer Review Policy

International Journal of Social Sciences and Management Research (IJSSMR) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published research. The review process is designed to maintain transparency, fairness, and objectivity at every stage of manuscript evaluation.

  1. Initial Screening:
Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial review by the editorial office to verify its compliance with the journal’s scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards. Manuscripts failing to meet these basic requirements may be returned to authors for revision or declined before peer review.

  2. Double-Blind Review Process:
Both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other throughout the review process to eliminate bias. Each manuscript is assigned to at least two independent experts with relevant academic and research experience.

  3. Reviewer Selection:
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, academic reputation, and previous contributions in the relevant field. The editorial team ensures no conflict of interest between authors and reviewers.

  4. Evaluation Criteria:
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on:

    • Originality and relevance of the topic

    • Clarity of objectives and methodology

    • Theoretical and empirical contribution

    • Quality of analysis and interpretation

    • Adherence to ethical research standards

    • Academic writing and presentation

  5. Review Outcomes:
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may decide to:

    • Accept the manuscript without changes

    • Accept with minor revisions

    • Request major revisions and resubmission

    • Reject the manuscript

  6. Revision and Re-evaluation:
Authors are given a specific timeframe to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ comments. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the same or different reviewers before final acceptance.

  7. Final Decision:
The Editor-in-Chief holds the final authority for publication decisions, based on reviewers’ reports, editorial board recommendations, and the paper’s overall contribution to the field.

  8. Confidentiality:
All manuscripts and review reports are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers and editorial members are not allowed to share, discuss, or use the content before official publication.

  9. Ethical Responsibility:
IJSSMR adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines to ensure ethical conduct during the review process and to handle any disputes or misconduct with transparency.
